Vegetable Gardens Bearing “Fruit”

The two gardens planted in Haiti in early March are already bearing “fruit” and the green leafy vegetables are being harvested and eaten by the orphans. Thanks to Prof. Brandenberger and some of his outstanding students in Haiti (orphans themselves), these gardens are flourishing as a result of a lot of “loving care,” including the tedious job of weeding each and every day. We are posting photos of the vegetables ready to be cooked as well as a series of photos showing the new gardens – from an untouched grassy area to a fully planted garden (see our last News Post re: two new gardens for Haiti). We are very thankful to Prof. Brandenberger for his ongoing support and guidance and we are very proud of his Haitian students that are continuing to train more children and plant more gardens.
