HRI is hosting a Vision Trip with C3 Global and four U.S. pastors interested in learning more about extreme poverty in rural areas of Guatemala. HRI Country Director, Efrain de los Rios, is accompanying the group as they visit several communities that lack basic and essential services such as access to health care, clean water and sanitation. However, most disturbing in these villages is the lack of food security and the high numbers of children suffering from varying degrees of under and malnutrition. HRI is implementing School Feeding Programs in 3 villages in Guatemala where we are successfully targeting over 640 children daily. We hope that new partners will join our efforts to keep children in school and to provide essential nutrition to them!
